Proverbs 19:11
A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.

Greetings saints,
At salvation, about 30 years ago I discovered Proverbs 19:11.  And since then, the journey of life and Proverbs 19:11, along with its few cross references below has always been a wonderful conviction of seeing God's perspective.  

James 1:19-20
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 
because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

Ephesians 4:2
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

Colossians 3:13
Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Matthew 5:7
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

1 Peter 4:8
Above all, love one another deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
