Triggering Miracles

 Romans 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Saints,
Romans 8:7 is one passage I've stood on for over 20 years.  Now, I'm diving in further to Matthew 15:19-20 and truly what Jesus said is a WOW moment which triggers miracles.  I've been so focused on bullet points 3 through 7, I overlooked #1 - evil thoughts.

Jesus said:
For out of the heart proceed
  1. evil thoughts,
  2. murders,
  3. adulteries,
  4. fornications,
  5. thefts,
  6. false witness,
  7. blasphemies: THESE (seven) ARE THE THINGS WHICH DEFILE a man...  Matthew 15:19‭-‬20

BLESSED are the undefiled...   Psalm 119:1

Because of Romans 8:7 I always praised God for what the Apostle Paul pointed out which is cross references to Genesis 6:5. And I always repented when filth entered my mind.  Yet now let me explain the beauty of keeping oneself undefiled.   With simplicity, miracles happen when we keep ourselves undefiled.

I don't know much, yet I appreciate the LORD helping me be a better person each day and to witness not one, but many miracles throughout my journey.

BLESSED are the undefiled...
Psalm 119:1

1 Corinthians 3:16-17
16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

In Closing,
When you fall, quickly repent & get back up again (Proverbs 24:16). Discover our righteousness is not in ourselves, but in the finished work of Jesus.  He is our righteousness (Jehovah Tsidkenu).  The righteousness we have is a free gift (Romans 5:17) to reign in this lifetime.

Isaiah 55:7 (KJV)
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Please Be Careful with Covenant

 1 Corinthians 7:28
..those who marry will face many troubles in this life, and I want to spare you this.

TO all singles - Please Be Careful when entering into A Covenant Marriage.  Much like a Covenant with God.  But at least with God, He remains faithful when we're faithless (2 Timothy 2:13).

Scriptures don't lie!  The following may refer to women, yet truth be told ignorant selfish men are just as corrupt.

Proverbs 21:9‭ & ‬19 tells us..
It’s better to live alone in the corner of an attic than with a quarrelsome wife in a lovely home.
It’s better to live alone in the desert than with a quarrelsome, complaining wife.

Once you're married.
You have to abide by covenant where Jesus said twice in Matthew 5:44 & Luke 6:27..LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.

And guess what, God loves you no matter what!

1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. 5 It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered, 6 it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails;

  • Marriage is a covenant between God and us.
  • Marriage is a covenant between Bridegroom and the church.
  • Marriage is a covenant between husband and wife.

Ephesians 5:21-25 (KJV)
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it

Jeremiah 3:1 (KJV)
...thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.

Matthew 15:20 - which defile

 Matthew 15:19-20 (KJV)
19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man

Matthew 15:20 (The living Bible, paraphrased)
These are what defile; but there is no spiritual defilement from eating ...

Now these are the things which defile a man, v. 20. Note, Sin is defiling to the soul, renders it unlovely and abominable in the eyes of a pure and holy God; unfit for communion with him, and for the enjoyment of him in the new Jerusalem, into which nothing shall enter that defileth or worketh iniquity. The mind and conscience are defiled by sin, and that makes every thing else so.  This defilement by sin was signified by the ceremonial pollutions which the Jewish doctors added to, but understood not. See Heb. 9:13, 14; 1 Jn. 1:7.
from: Matthew Henry’s commentary

Titus 1:15 (NKJV)
To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

1 John 1:7 (KJV)
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Saints,
Please don't defile self.
