Sons of Your Father

Jesus said...
You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; Matthew 5:43-45

Saints,
Only by the power of the Holy Spirit can we be so patient, so gracious of handling matters and most noted having to hand over the matter to Almighty God. Following passage is quite the eye opener of seeing the manifestation of how and when the Lord will act on behalf of anyone who waits for Him.  Remember, Jesus waited.

Isaiah 64:4
Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.

In closing,
Disappointment will hit anyone.  Yet, with this, the Lord gives everyone the ability to handle matters with such love that an atmosphere doesn't have to be oh, not again, but here's an opportunity to experience a miracle.

Ecclesiastes 3:16

Furthermore, I have seen under the sun that in the place of justice there is wickedness and in the place of righteousness there is wickedness. (NASB)

Everywhere on earth I saw violence and injustice instead of fairness and justice. (CEV)

Among other things that pained the Preacher were injustice and wickedness. He found crookedness in the law courts where justice should be dispensed and dishonesty in government circles where righteousness should be practiced.
--> William MacDonald, Believer’s Bible Commentary: Old and New Testaments, ed. Arthur Farstad (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1995),

[saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there] Solomon saw injustices in the place of judgment and had to acknowledge that sin was there. He concluded that it would take God, the righteous Judge, to give absolute justice (Eccl. 3:16–17; Mt. 16:27; Acts 17:31; 2Cor. 5:9–10; Rev. 20:11–15).
--> Finis Jennings Dake, The Dake Annotated Reference Bible (Dake Publishing, 1997), Ec 3:16.

Jesus said...
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. Matthew 16:27

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God. Ephesians 5:15-21

The Famous Ephesians 2:8-9

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Saints,
Most know the famous Ephesians 2:8-9.  It's like Romans chapter 4, resting in the Lord. Yet, most should, shall, hopefully graduate to James chapter 2 where the Apostle Paul also wrote the following.

1 Timothy 6:18
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

In Closing,
May all transition and discover the power of hospitality, kindness, charity unto all.  Endless Blessings!  So as Jesus said the harvest is plenty, the laborers are few.  Pray to the Lord that He may send out laborers into the harvest (Matthew 9:37-38, Luke 10:2)!

From Jeremiah, Jesus to today. Den of robbers!

Jeremiah 6:6
This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Cut down the trees and build siege ramps against Jerusalem.
This city must be punished; it is filled with oppression.

Saints,
From the days of Jeremiah, Jesus to 2024.  NOTHING HAS CHANGED!

Jeremiah 7:3-11
Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.
4 Do not trust in deceptive words, saying, ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’ 5 For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a man and his neighbor, 6 if you DO NOT oppress the alien, the orphan, or the widow, and DO NOT shed innocent blood in this place, nor walk after other gods to your own ruin, 7 then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.

8 “Behold, you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail. 9 Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery and swear falsely, and offer sacrifices to Baal and walk after other gods that you have not known, 10 then come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—that you may do all these abominations? 11 Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” declares the Lord.

3 times Jesus says...
"Is it not written: 'My house will be called a house of prayer for ALL THE NATIONS'? But you have made it 'a den of robbers.'"   (Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17, Luke 19:46)

Matthew 23:37-39
37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

In closing,

Jeremiah 6:6
This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Cut down the trees and build siege ramps against Jerusalem.
This city must be punished; it is filled with oppression.
