HEY! God leveled the playing field!

What does it mean to level the field?

(AI Overview)
The term "level field" refers to a state of equality or fairness, implying that everyone has the same opportunities and disadvantages. This idiom originates from sports, where a perfectly flat playing surface ensures no team has an advantage due to a slope, and it is now used metaphorically to describe situations in business, economics, or social life that are equitable and without unfair favoritism.

HEY!
LOOK WHAT GOD DID!

1 Corinthians 1:26-31
26 For consider your calling, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; 27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, 28 and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify (frustrate) the things that are, 29 so that no man may boast before God. 30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

In Closing,
From 31 years of experience and with great simplicity..
  1. Have a job, because  Ecclesiastes 10:19 says 'Money answers everything!'
  2. What do we do with money?  Well  Ephesians 4:28 tells us -  Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
  3. Remember,  give to the needy, not the leech! (Read Psalm 112:9 and Proverbs 30:15)
  4. Lastly, have more joy and patience along the journey. If you find yourself discouraged, - HANG IN THERE!  Galatians 6:9 tells us ...  And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Which Temple will you Honor & Respect?

Jesus told the Pharisees:
But I tell you that One greater than the temple is here.  But if you had known what this means, ‘desire compassion, and not a sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. Matthew 12:6-7

Colossians 1:27 (KJV)
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Ephesians 3:6
This mystery is that the Gentiles (The Good Samaritans, Palestinians, Mexicans, and any race, ethnicity, or nationality) are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.  ( cross reference: 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 )

Jesus said:
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21 (KJV)

Precious saints,
  1. Jesus is the temple. Matthew 12:6
  2. Where does Jesus live? Mystery among all - Christ in YOU. Colossians 1:27
  3. Again, we don't have to look anywhere, for Jesus (the Kingdom of God) is within us all. Luke 17:21
  4. Do nothing out of selfishness or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves!
  5. Finally, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus, demonstrate compassion unto all.

Philippians 2:1-5
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Matthew 12:6-7

Matthew 12:6-7
Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple
But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

Greetings saints,
Over the weekend I was overwhelmed with the vast cross references to Matthew 12:6-7.  If I can describe the heart and simplicity of God from this passage.  He's saying - Put down your religion and go exercise our faith Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Hosea 6:6
For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

Micah 6:6-8
6 Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?  7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?  8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Philippians 3:9

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Greetings Saints,
I was studying Matthew 5:20 and was overwhelmed with such holy ghost rhema JOY when coming across Philippians 3:9!  Let's break this awesome rhema word down and light up our spirit with refreshing JOY!

A) not having mine own (conscience) righteousness, which is of the (tithe) law,
B) but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Precious saints,
If you have the tithe, wonderful. If not, NO WORRIES!  Let's then focus on the offering, which in my opinion and experience surpasses the tithe (Matthew 5:20, Romans 10:1-3).  For quite some time I've literally used what cash in hand I have to release to any individual in need.  I have enough Business Bible Sense to live by faith and NOT by my own righteousness, which is of the law.

What makes me feel better is seeing the reaction of many recipients who are shocked, taken by surprise, overwhelmed with overflowing joy at what just happened.  It's like the Resurrection of Jesus, waking up!  Like 1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

God resides within every individual (Luke 17:21, Ephesians 3:6, Colossians 1:27). So, Awake to righteousness!

In Closing,
I cannot explain Malachi 3:10-12, maybe because it's obsolete (Hebrews 8:13).  But from experience, I can share the overwhelming ministering angels (Hebrews 13:2) fighting on my behalf as I'm moved with compassion of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10) to touch the lost with the resurrection love of Jesus.

Hebrews 13:2
Don’t neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.

Romans 10:17, Logos, Rhema

In the Greek language there are two different words for ‘word,’ logos and rhema. The world was created by the Word, logos, of God. Logos is the general Word of God, stretching from Genesis to Revelation, for all these books directly or indirectly tell about the Word, Jesus Christ. By reading the logos from Genesis to Revelation you can receive all the knowledge you need about God and His promises; but just by reading you do not receive faith. You have received knowledge and understanding about God, but you do not receive faith.

Romans 10:17 shows us that the material used to build faith is more than just reading God’s Word: “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” In this scripture ‘word’ is not logos, but rhema. Faith specifically comes by hearing the rhema.

In his Greek lexicon Dr. Ironside has defined logos as “the said word of God,” and rhema as “the saying word of God.” Many scholars define this action of rhema as being the Holy Spirit using a few verses of Scripture and quickening it personally to one individual person. Here is my definition of rhema: rhema is a specific word to a specific person in a specific situation.

Logos is given to everybody. Logos is common to Koreans, Europeans, Africans and Americans. It is given to all so that they may gain knowledge about God; but rhema is not given to everyone. Rhema is given to that specific person who is waiting upon the Lord until the Holy Spirit quickens logos into rhema. If you never have time to wait upon the Lord, then the Lord can never come and quicken the needed scripture to your heart.

This is a busy age. People come to church and are entertained. They hear a short sermon and are dismissed, without having any time of waiting upon the Lord. They get the logos, but since they do not receive rhema, they miss out on seeing the miraculous workings of God, and begin to doubt His power.

People must come to the main sanctuary, listen attentively to the preacher, and wait upon the Lord. But they do not come and listen prayerfully to the preacher, waiting upon the Lord to receive rhema; therefore, they cannot receive the faith they need for the solutions to their problems. Their knowledge of the Bible increases as their problems increase, and though they come to church, nothing happens. So they begin to fall away and lose faith.

Wait for the Guiding Light

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Genesis 1:1-3).

To bring order to chaos, first God created light. In our lives, which are filled with formless and empty darkness, we must first call out for light, saying, “Let there be light.” Just as light shows the path even in the darkest of night, when light shines down on our lives, we are able to see the path we must take in our lives. How can we let such light shine in our lives?

We must pray sincerely to God, “Let light shine upon us!” When we have the assurance that He shines the light upon us, we must declare this with our lips. When we do so, light will be given to us in the form of dreams and ideas.

A sister in our church had a husband who had mistakenly co-signed for a friend to make a huge loan. When his friend defaulted on the loan, the husband had some of his salary taken from him by the lender. Her family had to face a devastating situation. Having a six-member family, they were spiraling into greater debt each month. She began to feel that she could no longer depend on her husband’s income and decided to find a job. She fasted and prayed to God to show her the way. One day, as she was praying all night in church, a brilliant light shone upon her. She saw a vision in the light. She saw a small building with a shop on the first floor and a place of residence on the second. She was instantly convinced it was God’s answer to her prayer. In the morning, she returned home with joy and conviction. Before the month was over, she did find a small store where she was able to start a small business and helped support her family. Finally, they got out of debt.

In much the same way, the first step to a productive life is to let light shine into your life. Before light shines upon you and shows you the path, do not act according to your own way. The reasons many people today are trapped with no way out is because they depend on and follow their own ways and means.

If you truly want to live in success and blessing, no matter how much darkness may seem to surround you, you must wait and pray for the guiding light of God. When it shines down upon you, you will see exactly what you must do.

Such light may come to you as a revelation, a dream or a vision. It may come as you are reading the Bible. There are other ways light might come to you. When Christians fail to wait for such guiding light of the Holy Spirit and run ahead of Him, it always leads to failure. You must kneel down and pray, and then wait. You must firmly command yourself saying,

“Light shall come upon me. Let there be light in my life.”

Tithe, I don't any longer! Part II

Luke 18:9-12
9 Now He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: 10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and began praying this in regard to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, crooked, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’

Galatians 2:18
If I rebuild what I have already torn down, I prove myself to be a lawbreaker.

Romans 7:1-4
1 Do you not know, brothers (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has authority over a man only as long as he lives? 2 For instance, a married woman is bound by law to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage. 3 So then, if she is joined to another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.
4 Therefore, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.

Galatians 3:25
Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Saints, in closing,
Have gigantic Deuteronomy 15:10, Proverbs 11:24-25, Luke 6:38, and James chapter 2 faith!
This is the Bible Business Model of God - simply take care of our communities and neighbors!

Ephesians 4:28
Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
