A Great Reminder

Good morning saints,

6 times Jesus reminds us to stay on course!
in spite of difficulties or obstacles; persevere!

Matthew 10:39
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

Matthew 16:25
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Mark 8:35
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and for the gospel will save it.

Luke 9:24
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

Luke 17:33
Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.

John 12:25
Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

The Quickening of the Jewish Faith & Jesus

1 Corinthians 15:45
So it is written [in Scripture], “The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL (an individual);” the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving spirit [restoring the dead to life].

Praise the LORD, Saints,
You know, before we developed a relationship with Jesus, we were dead.  I know I was.  No wind, nothing!  Maybe a couple of Ghoos-bums every now and then, but that was it.  One day out of nowhere, suddenly a quickening of light, fresh wind came along.  Just as the following Psalm 119:25, 50 shares: 119: 25 My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.  Jesus didn't come to abolish the law, but to fulfill (Matthew 5:17) with grace and truth (John 1:17).  You know there's an end to all perfection.

Psalm 119:96 tells us:
I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity].

Saints,
Nothing makes sense, nor adds up, but what is exceedingly broad is the commandment of love (Romans 13:10).  The Jewish faith is our foundation and with the quickening of the Word - you just get too excited and want to tell everyone the Good News!  I get excited more now than ever for the simple understanding of the power of charity!  Seed-faith = harvest = Genesis 8:22 = Ecclesiastes 11:1-2 = James 2:14-26.

In closing,
Sadly, the following passage talks about covetousness of the Pharisees [Luke 16:14] (not Jewish Romans 2:28-29) who studied God's Word (Matthew 23) but didn't want to share.  So, the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.  May a conviction come upon them as it did to the Apostle Paul.

1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 (KJV)
14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: 15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: 16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

Psalm 119:36
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

A Friend asked, Why Do People Hate Israel?

Jesus says to our self-centered Pharisees...
Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?  Matthew 23:33
Matthew 3:7 John the Baptist said: “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? (Luke 3:7)
Matthew 12:34 Jesus said:  You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good

Saints,
A friend asked, why do people hate Israel?

In my opinion, in one word: 'Pharisees' who have infiltrated  the Israeli government and ruined everything for the Jewish community and the Palestinian people,  who in this last year have suffered genocide in the hands of evil.  God called them to be a light, a witness of righteousness and greatest display of love unto all, but instead according to Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Hosea became the adulterous wife (read Hosea 1:2).

If we recall from Matthew 16:1-4 Jesus calls them an evil and adulterous generation.  James 4:4 shares: Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.  Ezekiel 16:32 shares about Pharisees 'You adulterous wife! You receive strangers instead of your own husband!'

To learn more about Pharisees, read/study what Jesus said in the entire chapter of Matthew 23.  Also know God desires to fellowship with each of us daily, so read the Holy Bible.  I've always suggested the The Daily Walk Bible.  Easy daily plan from January - December.  One of the neat many things you'll discover is the accountability of  God Almighty, and how personal He is to act on behalf of  anyone who waits for Him (Isaiah 64:4).

PLEASE, PLEASE, understand!  Pharisees do NOT represent the Jewish people.  They've always been in some type of leadership misleading many (read Isaiah 9:16-17 and truly study the New Testament).  Jesus said: Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—Revelation 3:9..

The Jewish people are good people like any other ethnicity.  It's very unfortunate they've taken a bad rap (to be the subject of an undeserved or unjust criticism, punishment, or opinion) due to Pharisees ruining it for everyone.

In closing,
If you have accepted Jesus into your life.  Congratulations, your part of the Jewish family (Romans 2:28-29).

A Broader, Richer, Perspective. The Extra Mile

John 10:17-18
Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.  18 No one takes it away from Me, but I lay it down voluntarily. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Saints,
Romans 5:8 tells us:
But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

You'll probably go the extra mile for a friend, but will you voluntarily lay down your agenda (Luke 9:23-24) and go the extra mile for another?  Like Jesus, you too can say John 10:17 Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

In closing,
How thankful we are for Jesus and the power of His amazing quickening presence, precious spirit of God, Amen!

John 10:11
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

HEY! God leveled the playing field!

What does it mean to level the field? (AI Overview) The term "level field" refers to a state of  equality or fairness , implying...
