Furthermore, I have seen under the sun that in the place of justice there is wickedness and in the place of righteousness there is wickedness. (NASB)
Everywhere on earth I saw violence and injustice instead of fairness and justice. (CEV)
Among other things that pained the Preacher were injustice and wickedness. He found crookedness in the law courts where justice should be dispensed and dishonesty in government circles where righteousness should be practiced.
--> William MacDonald, Believer’s Bible Commentary: Old and New Testaments, ed. Arthur Farstad (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1995),
[saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there] Solomon saw injustices in the place of judgment and had to acknowledge that sin was there. He concluded that it would take God, the righteous Judge, to give absolute justice (Eccl. 3:16–17; Mt. 16:27; Acts 17:31; 2Cor. 5:9–10; Rev. 20:11–15).

Jesus said...
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. Matthew 16:27
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God. Ephesians 5:15-21
