Happy Good Friday saints, |
On this weekend of Easter / Passover feast (1 Corinthians 5:8). Like to share the testimony of a Good Samaritan from Tustin, California.
Back in December 2022, just a few days before Christmas. This Good Samaritan was on his usual walk around his neighborhood (talking to God about his debt & other things). While out, he spotted a young mother and her two little children stranded with car trouble (seemed to have been in an accident). He assisted with pushing the car into the Carl's Jr parking lot. Despite noticing the scent of cannabis in the car, he continued to chat with the troubled young lady and offered her and the children a wonderful meal of comfort. Nothing like a cheeseburger, fries, and shake to refresh any child. While waiting for help, the Good Samaritan offered the young lady the powerful testimony of charity and how to operate in the simplicity of charity.
The Good Samaritan called AAA to tow her car 50 miles back home and also assisted with getting a Lyft (taxi) safely back home. Young lady's boyfriend was ever grateful they're brought home, safe and sound.
From this Christmas act of kindness (seed-faith), 9 months later the Good Samaritan was promoted with a $58,000 increase (harvest, Genesis 8:22) to his salary.
In Closing,
If you've never read the biblical account of the Good Samaritan.

GIVE TO THE POOR and STRANGER!
Luke 10:30-37
“A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he encountered robbers, and they stripped him and beat him, and went away leaving him half dead. 31 And by coincidence a priest was going down on that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan who was on a journey came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion, 34 and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 On the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I return, I will repay you.’ 36 Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robbers’ hands?” 37 And he said, “The one who showed compassion to him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same.”
