Take a Chance with Theft (Luke 6:30) or Simply Give

Exodus 34:24 (KJV) For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.  Proverbs 16:7 (KJV) When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Saints,
Jesus said in Luke 6:30 "Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again."  I've written/published in my blog some time ago on this very issue of one stealing property, land, or whatever the item.  Despite the setback, always know with Jesus principles, life is always WIN WIN and never a loss!  IF you have carefully read Luke chapters 6, 8 or all of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  THEN, you'll know the power of giving, ONLY to make room for what's coming in your life.  It's an act of faith and compassion for seeing the Bigger Picture of Life.

Matthew 19:21-22 (KJV)
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.  22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

Matthew 19:21
Jesus said unto him, IF you want to be perfect, .. GIVE to the poor... (cf: Mark 10:21-22, Luke 18:22-23)

In closing,
take time to know your neighbors, always refreshing fellowship!

Isaiah 9:16-17

 Isaiah 9:16-17 (KJV)
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.  17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Saints,
From the above passage.  We have leaders that not only cause people to err, but those that are led by them are destroyed.  The incredible sadness of verse 17 goes onto say therefore the Lord shall have no joy nor mercy on the young men, the fatherless and widows.  In Romans 10, the Apostle Paul goes on to say...

Romans 10:1-3 (KJV)
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.  2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Please be careful. Find discernment of truth.  Be led by the Holy Spirit and remember what Jesus said...

John 14:6 (KJV)
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

Which Weapons of War?

Ecclesiastes 9:14-18

14 There was once a small city with only a few people in it. And a powerful king came against it, surrounded it and built huge siege works against it. 15 Now there lived in that city a man poor but wise, and he saved the city by his wisdom. But nobody remembered that poor man. 16 So I said, “Wisdom is better than strength.” But the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are no longer heeded.

17 The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools.
18 Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good.

James 1:20 - for the wrath of man DOES NOT produce the righteousness of God.

Proverbs 25:21-22
21 If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.
22 In doing this ... the Lord will reward you.

Romans 12:20-21
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Saints,
Acts of love, kindness, compassion of a Good Samaritan, hospitality are the Weapons of war that work every time AND come with endless benefits.

In Closing,

Exodus 23:1-4
YOU SHALL NOT spread a false report.  YOU SHALL NOT join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness. 2 YOU SHALL NOT fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice, 3 nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his lawsuit.
4 “If you meet your enemy's ox or his donkey going astray, YOU SHALL bring it back to him.

The Greatest Secret

Luke 10:25-37

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”

27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?”

37 And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
