Saints,
Withhold NOT the love and kindness of God from anyone (
Gal 6:10). As the Holy Scriptures share, may we guide our affairs with discretion.
Psalms 112:5
A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
Proverbs 11:24 tells us:
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
- Some not poor financially but are poor in the outlook of graciousness. The reward of kind words strengthens, heals, comforts and much more. Jesus, King Solomon, and the Apostle Paul and James calls us to greater heights of faith. Like if your enemy is hungry, feed him. It's an act of faith. The Word of God is a seed (Luke 8:11) and if we by faith act upon it, the harvest will be bountiful. What pleases God, our Heavenly Father is taking an act of faith (Hebrews 11:6).
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him...
Romans 12:20
If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink...
AND THE LORD WILL REWARD YOU.
Proverbs 25:21-22
Jesus said:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 SO THAT YOU MAY PROVE YOURSELVES TO BE SONS OF YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Matthew 5:43-45
In closing,
Matthew 16:27
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
I know thy works...
Revelation 2:9
