Philippians 2:12, work out your own salvation

Philippians 2:12
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

Precious saints,
Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).  James 2:17 NLT says ..faith by itself isn’t enough.  James 2:17 NIV shares...In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

SO THE QUESTION REMAINS...
HOW DO  WE WORK OUT OUR OWN SALVATION?

Answer from 31 year veteran, your's truly - me Pastor Thayer Diab!  2 Timothy 2:3
KEY Passage: Ecclesiastes 10:19.. money answers everything.

Psalm 41 -  By faith help the poor in our communities and get healed!
Isaiah 58 -  By faith help the poor in our communities and not only get healed, but also shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
Matthew 6, Luke 12 - By faith help the poor in our communities and receive the promise of never experiencing theft.

In closing,
God has instructed us with simplicity (Psalm 82, Ephesians 4:28) to experience such an abundance of MIRACLES!

Tyrants, No Faith, No Jesus

Happy Holidays precious saints,

Hebrews chapter 11 declares without faith, it is impossible to please God!  The chapter declares the faithful champions like the elders who left a good report, Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, the beautiful great grand-mother of King David, the harlot Rahab.  And of course, David and others who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises!!!

Yet today, if I may be honest with revelation, no faith is needed when tyranny and genocide is evident.  No need for the Holy Ghost when it's easier to steal, kill, and destroy the lives of innocent families from Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan, and possibly elsewhere.

Proverbs 22:8
The unjust tyrant will reap disaster, and his reign of terror shall end.

Proverbs 29:16
When rulers are wicked, their people are too; but good men will live to see the tyrant’s downfall.

Zephaniah 3:1-4 (Woe to Jerusalem and the Nations)
Woe to her who is rebellious and defiled, The tyrannical city!
2 She heeded no voice, She accepted no instruction.
She did not trust in the Lord, She did not draw near to her God.
3 Her princes within her are roaring lions, Her judges are wolves at evening;
They leave nothing for the morning.
Her prophets are reckless, treacherous men; Her priests have profaned the sanctuary.
They have done violence to the law.

In Closing,
Jesus said...
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ”  -Matthew chapter 23

Lay Something Aside

1 Corinthians 16:2a-3b
On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside ... to take your gift [of charity and love]...

Saints,
As we mature in our walk with Jesus, we'll come to understand the business sense of God (Psalm 82).  That is, don't allow the religious tithe (ministry of condemnation) to steal our joy of cheerfully giving.  For the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory!!

2 Corinthians 3:9
For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

Righteousness is taking a leap of faith (action, Romans 3:22) and doing the right thing. When we go to church, go ahead and lay something aside, DOESN'T MATTER WHAT IT IS!   Yet, have greater gigantic faith with money and Be the blessings upon the poor, needy, and less fortunate.  NOT the leech!  Read Ephesians 4:28    You want to be slapped with Resurrection life!  A Harvest so glorious and marvelous!  Come to the end of self and be the church, the blessings that bestows unheard of benevolence that awakens many..

In Closing,
There will be a time in our lives where we'll Awake to righteousness and smell the coffee!

Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
1 Corinthians 15:34

The Enlightenment

Romans 7:18
For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.

Good news saints,
You aint perfect, your stubborn spouse aint perfect, your family, friends aren't as well.   When there's every excuse to hold a grudge, we can't.  Disappointed will only last as long as we're outside of the realm of Biblical truth.  And the truth is, Jesus is only one perfect.

It's good to hold our peace (Proverbs 17:27-28), remain quiet and go for a walk to the convenience store.  Grab anything from candy, diet coke, or sparkling water.  With patience and time, we'll be enlightened to Romans 7:18 or Matthew 18 where Jesus tells a story about forgiveness.

In closing,
Remember to thank God you're not living in Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan where there are disgraceful tyrants slaughtering innocent families today 2025.  Then you'll truly have a reason to hold a grudge longer than most.  Life doesn't add up, but honestly hanging out with The Daily Walk Bible allows us to be one step ahead of nonsense.

God Bless you and Have a wonderful Thanksgiving season!

Guinea Pig

guinea pig:
a person or thing used as a subject for experiment.

Saints,
As we navigate through the journey, at times we might possibly ask God for proof, evidence of His promises.  As if the outpouring of the awesomeness of the Holy Spirit wasn't enough, we ask away similar to what Jesus said to ask, seek, knock and the door will be open (Matthew 7:7).

Well, for sometime, I've been asking God for greater evidence of Ecclesiastes 11:1-2 and Ephesians 4:28.  And the last thing I wanted to be was the subject of an experiment.  Yet, whether me or Gideon from Judges chapter 6-7, or how Jesus turned two fish/five loaves of bread to feed thousands.  In any of these events, odds were surely against us.

Yet, Resurrection Life occurred for every event.  The challenges of life come from all sorts of areas and difficulties.  And by faith like Hebrews 11:2 where the elders obtained a good report.  We too shall obtain a good report.

In closing,
Biblically, at times God will bring us to the end of ourselves (read Matthew - John), only to experience such a glorious Resurrection.  Nothing will add up, so make no plans (Proverbs 27:1), and enjoy what's yet to manifest Hebrews 8:6!

Why Is Failure Not an Option?

Why Is Failure Not an Option?
Because Hebrews 11:2 tells us ..the elders obtained a good report.

This is today's RHEMA (Wake Up & Shout HALLELUJAH!) Passage!   The elders obtained a good testimony!
Craziest thing, trials don't go away.  Everyone has been through trials and by faith, keep on Keeping ON!
As Romans 1:17 says we go from faith to faith!

Hebrews 11:1-2
Now faith is the substance (title deed) of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good report.  (KJV, AMP)

PLEASE KNOW:
The elders were not perfect; they've had their share of mistakes and blunders like anyone else.
From our fondest memory of Hebrews 11:31 which shares ...By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not... to the harlot King David where God didn't look at his appearance, but at his heart (1 Samuel  16:7, read 2nd Samuel).   Their journey had a few bumps in the road, and by faith, discernment, and chastisement (Hebrews 12:6), they obtained a good report.
From Peter denying Jesus three times to being one of the greatest apostles used by God.  The Bible holds countless testimonies and encourages us to fight the good fight of faith!

In closing,
Pastor Mike Murdock wrote..
"Greatness is Not the Absence of a Flaw - But the Willingness to Overcome it."

Hebrews 10:38-39
But My righteous one shall live by faith;
And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.
But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.

HEY! God leveled the playing field!

What does it mean to level the field?

(AI Overview)
The term "level field" refers to a state of equality or fairness, implying that everyone has the same opportunities and disadvantages. This idiom originates from sports, where a perfectly flat playing surface ensures no team has an advantage due to a slope, and it is now used metaphorically to describe situations in business, economics, or social life that are equitable and without unfair favoritism.

HEY!
LOOK WHAT GOD DID!

1 Corinthians 1:26-31
26 For consider your calling, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; 27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, 28 and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify (frustrate) the things that are, 29 so that no man may boast before God. 30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

In Closing,
From 31 years of experience and with great simplicity..
  1. Have a job, because  Ecclesiastes 10:19 says 'Money answers everything!'
  2. What do we do with money?  Well  Ephesians 4:28 tells us -  Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
  3. Remember,  give to the needy, not the leech! (Read Psalm 112:9 and Proverbs 30:15)
  4. Lastly, have more joy and patience along the journey. If you find yourself discouraged, - HANG IN THERE!  Galatians 6:9 tells us ...  And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Philippians 2:12, work out your own salvation

Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,  work out ...
